Qualifications: Catholic University of São Paulo Law School, Brazil, LLB (1986). Georgetown University Law School, Washington, D.C., LLM, 1989, with specialization in international trade and finance. Qualified as a lawyer in Brazil in 1987, and lawyer in New York, U.S.A., in 1989.
Experience: Carlos, together with Ken Basch, founded Basch & Rameh in 1996. Previously, he worked with Clyde & Co São Paulo and Clyde & Co London. Carlos also worked as an associate with the New York firm Hill Rivkins & Hayden. During this period, he worked extensively with insurance and transportation matters. His professional experience concentrates in assisting foreign companies doing business in Brazil, negotiating, drafting of international and local contracts relating to corporate, trade, finance, insurance and regulatory matters. Carlos has recently managed the legal aspects of a chemical plant acquisition in Brazil. He is also experienced with air, space and environmental matters, and with commercial litigation in Brazil, U.S.A. and England. In recent years, Carlos published articles on the latest developments in transportation law in specialized magazines. He is also a member of the Brazilian Maritime Law Association (Associação Brasileira de Direito Marítimo – ABDM).
Qualifications: Law Degree from Universidade Cândido Mendes – Centro, Rio de Janeiro (2003). MBA from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV) in Business Law and Tax Law (2005). LLM in Banking and Finance – Queen Mary, University of London (Distinction) (2013).
Experience: Nicole has been working with business, corporate and finance law with a particular focus on aviation law including asset finance transactions. Previously, she worked at Varig Logistica(“VarigLog”), a Brazilian airline for eight years, first as trainee and contract analyst, as assistant counsel, and eventually as general counsel, for two years, dealing with matters of business and corporate law, contracts, labor and competition law with domestic and international scope. Nicole has been working at Basch & Rameh since 2008 with a focus on aviation finance transactions. In 2013 Nicole worked on secondment basis for six months in with a major London law firm, dealing with aviation and shipping finance.

Experience: Paulo has been with Basch & Rameh since 2000. He concentrates on commercial and corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures and foreign investments in Brazil, as well as transactions in the oil and gas industry, including financing transactions (asset finance) of oil platforms, drilling rigs and vessels. Paulo has published articles and is a founding member and Diretor Social of the Applied Corporate Law Institute (Instituto de Direto Societário Aplicado – IDSA). He is also a member of the Brazilian Maritime Law Association (Associação Brasileira de Direito Marítimo – ABDM)

Experience: Renata has been working at Basch & Rameh since April 2000. She concentrates on commercial and civil law litigation, involving foreign entities and international trading agreements, Aircraft financing and leasing, civil liability in the air transportation and shipping, damages of varied nature, judicial recuperation and bankruptcy. Her overall professional experience also includes consulting for foreign entities investing in Brazil and contracts in general.
Qualifications: Graduated by University of São Paulo (USP), Brazil, LLB (2007). Specialization in Corporate Law at Fundação Getúlio Vargas – GVLaw (2011). Masters Degree in Business Law at São Paulo School of Law of Fundação Getúlio Vargas (2016). Experience: Victor works at Basch & Rameh since May 2004 and is generally involved with business and corporate law, especially foreign investments in Brazil, asset and project finance, international contracts and general legal advice to companies and financial institutions involved in the oil and gas industry.

Experience: Annie has been working at Basch &.Rameh since January 2018. She concentrates on litigation and legal advices, especially on litigation related to civil and commercial matters, involving foreign companies, related to aviation law, maritime law and consumer rights.

Experience: Bruno has been working at Bach & Rameh since January 2018. Its working scope concentrates in Aeronautical law, especially on aircraft financing and regulatory matters, and Business Law.

Experience: Priscila has been working at Basch & Rameh since 2013. She is an associate in the Energy, Oil and Gas, Aviation Finance, and Corporate Practice qualified to practice in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, with experience in cross-border financial transactions involving commercial banks, export credit agencies, and corporate entities. She has also been involved in energy and infrastructure projects related to wind power sector in the Northeast of Brazil. Amongst others, her experience includes legal advising private and public entities in comparing foreign direct investment regulations of different countries at the International Finance Corporation, a member of the World Bank Group, in 2012. Also, she was involved in a major offshore gas terminal finance project for the government of Jamaica at Mayer Brown LLP, Washington, DC, also in 2012.

Experience: Renata has been working at Basch & Rameh since April 1999. She concentrates on asset-based finance matters, especially the leasing, mortgaging, registration and sale of major assets, mostly aircraft.

Experience: Thais worked at Basch & Rameh from 1999 to 2003. Since July 2007 she re-joined the firm, concentrating mostly on commercial and corporate matters, joint venture agreements and foreign investment in Brazil. She is responsible for environmental law matters.
